This course covers the Police procedures and knowledge relevant to the rank of Constable - First Class.
This course has been designed to encourage candidates to build a working understanding of statue law, legislation, policy and procedure surrounding each of the identified subject areas and to have that knowledge tested in a formal setting.
Upon successful completion of this course, candidates will have fulfilled one of the educational requirements for appointment to the rank of Constable - First Class.

What do I need to do to pass this course?
Once enrolled in the course, candidates are encouraged to review the reference documents contained within each of the thirteen (13) modules. Candidates will also be required to meet competency in thirteen (13) knowledge checkers by achieving a result of 100% in each knowledge checker.
Each knowledge checker is comprised of twenty (20) multiple choice questions. Candidates must answer all twenty (20) questions correctly in order to meet the required competency. This means that a candidate can have no incorrect answers in any of the thirteen (13) knowledge checkers.
All thirteen (13) knowledge checkers are open book and do not attract any time limits. Candidates are permitted to complete one Knowledge Checker per week and are granted three attempts at each knowledge checker in one calendar week. If a candidate fails all three attempts, they will be required to submit a ticket to enable another three attempts.
Tickets can be submitted using the Submit a Ticket button on the left hand side of this course. The "Support/Assistance" tab above is not to be used in this instance.
The knowledge checkers are to be completed in a sequential order. However, candidates are only permitted to complete one (1) knowledge checker per calendar week, once complete, the next knowledge checker will be release the following Monday.
Can I apply for an exemption from any of the knowledge checkers?
No - under this new promotional system, candidates are no longer entitled to apply for exemptions.
Can I get a credit for knowledge checkers I have previously completed?
No - under this new promotional system, candidates are no longer entitled to apply for exemptions for previously completed courses.
What happens if I need a knowledge checker reset?
If a candidate does not reach competency in a knowledge checker at the completion of their third attempt prior to 8am Monday morning, they will automatically be given another 3 attempts.
What do I need to do after I have completed the Knowledge Checkers?
After you have completed all the Knowledge Checkers within this course you need to “Submit a Ticket”, requesting enrolment into the Final Exam
